About me
My name is Gioia (Joy-ah) Perry, and I am a Coordinating Teacher with the ERASS Region 2 Team. Driven by the mission to ensure every child receives a high quality education, I believe that literacy is the key to dismantling inequity. By leveraging the Science of Reading, we can establish a clear pathway to ensure each student graduates fully prepared for the future. My background includes teaching grades Pre-K–4, Literacy Intervention, and ESL. Additionally, I am a district LETRS facilitator and a Nationally Board Certified Teacher, holding specialized licenses as a Reading Specialist, Curriculum and Instructional Specialist, and ESL educator.
