About me
Lisa Allred is a career educator with 40 years of experience with Special Education students. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Mercer University, a Master of Education Degree in Learning Disabilities from Georgia Southern University, and an Educational Specialist Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership. She has taught special education students in Georgia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. She also served as the Director of Instructional Student Support for Monroe County Schools in Forsyth, GA, and the Director of the Georgia Learning Resources Services for Middle Georgia. Before assuming the duties of the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education Services, she served as an Assistant Principal at Rolesville High School and as the Director and Senior Director of the Policy Team for Special Education Services. Ms. Allred has been married to her husband Jeff for almost 38 years. They have 2 children and three grandchildren. Lisa enjoys reading, quilting, and spending time with family when she is not working.
