WCPSS 2026 Summer Leadership Conference

Niko is the Principal of Alston Ridge Elementary School in Wake County Schools. He has served as an elementary school principal and assistant principal for 15 years at Alston Ridge Elementary, Fuller Magnet Elementary in Southeast Raleigh, and Forestview Elementary in Durham Public Schools. Previous to his work in school administration Niko was a high school English teacher and Department Chair in Durham, Chapel Hill, and Charlotteville, VA. He holds a Master's of School Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master's of Teaching and Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia. He was born in Richmond, VA and lives in Chapel Hill with his amazing wife, four children, and a dog.
