Dr. Shawn D. Johnson is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience as a principal and district leader in curriculum and instruction. Knowledgeable of the most impactful instructional practices according to effect size, research, and results, Dr. Johnson’s top priority remains to serve as a champion of equity, access, and opportunity for all students, ensuring every child has access to high-quality core instruction and the support needed to thrive. Dr. Johnson currently serves as the Senior Director of Elementary RegionalAchievement and Support, Region 2, for the Wake County Public School System.
