Dr. Syreeta Smith is a dynamic transformational and instructional leader currently serving as the Eastern Area Superintendent for Wake County Public Schools. Driven by a deep passion for student success, she fiercely believes that education offers students a powerful opportunity for social and economic mobility. However, she operates with the vital understanding that educators must provide access, but access without readiness is destined for failure. Armed with a Doctor of Education degree from NC State University, she works tirelessly to advocate for students who are often overlooked.
